Hello my name is Grace Layugan and I'm from Antioch, CA, about 50 miles away from San Francisco. I'm currently a sophomore at Carondelet High School in Concord, CA.

I'm pretty  much your typical teenager- well-rounded in school, music lover, with a twist of inner-rebellion. At times, I find myself tempted to expose the inner-rebellion, but my days are too busy to do anything of that nature. On most days, I'm up to my ears in homework, and when finished, I relieve my stress by running on the treadmill or playing my favorite classical tunes on the piano.

Unlike most teenagers, I have a job that I enjoy: music coordinator at the 5:30 mass at Holy Rosary Church on Saturdays. Every week, I choose songs for the masses, play the piano, and cantor as well. With the help of good friend and violinist, Don Hancock, the 5:30 mass is a real jewel for the parishioners.
